DTN COMMENTS:  Formula totals for last week: KS 64,170(-4,890), NE 32,733(-
7,195), TX 77,642(+5,150). Total trade volume:  KS 69,385(-9,116), NE 
52,717(-9,050), TX 80,757(+4,793). New showlists appear to be higher in 
Kansas, slightly lower in Nebraska/Colorado, and lower in Texas. Bids and 
asking prices have yet to be established, and significant trade volume will 
likely be delayed until the second half of the week.

Beef cutouts are higher at midday (Choice 392.56 +1.53, Select 376.29 +4.71), 
with very light box movement (18.48 lds of choice cuts, 5.41 lds of select 
cuts, 3.04 lds of trim, and 4.79 lds of ground). At the top of the noon hour, 
live cattle contracts are mostly sharply lower, feeder issues are all sharply 
lower.
